Susan’s Springy Dress

I just finished sewing this dress for Susan, and I think it is perfect for springtime in the 40’s! I used the Heritage Doll Fashions 40’s Bubblegum Dress pattern from Pixie Faire. Overall it was pretty easy and the dress fits nicely. I didn’t care for the waistband instructions and will probably do that differently when I make it again. I do think that this is a very versatile dress pattern with endless fabric possibilities! It is also nice to make something for my 40’s girls that doesn’t have a Peter Pan collar–their wardrobe is full of them!
